U.S. Soybean Regional Trade Exchange

The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) is hosting the Europe/Middle East & North Africa U.S. Soy Trade Exchange in Barcelona on November 29-30, 2018.

This meeting has grown from an intimate group of 50 people several years ago to an expected 275 attendees this November. This will also kickoff the celebration of U.S. soy farmers 50 years working in the European market since the first office opened in Hamburg, Germany in 1969.

This is a very interesting time for all in the global soy industry and this event will be an opportunity for soy industry in Europe, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to talk with global industry experts and U.S. exporters and producers. The U.S. remains the world’s #1 soy producer and Europe and MENA region is the second largest soy importer, trailing only China. Soy is U.S. agricultures top export worth over $20 billion annually and exports represent approximately 70 million metric tons or 60% of total U.S. production.
