AmericanIce - Best Flavor Competition
FAS Berlin provided ice cream makers with high quality U.S. ingredients, including California walnuts and dried prunes, American dried cranberries, North Carolina sweet potatoes, and California pistachio paste. Six ice cream makers competed for the best flavor on August 12, 2017, in Berlin.

Cook Romanian Dishes with U.S. ingredients
FAS Bucharest organized a contest on U.S. Embassy social media page called “Cook Romanian dishes with U.S. ingredients” in April 2017. The contest featured three editions focused on dried fruits and nuts, fish and seafood, and beef, respectively.
The Office of Agricultural Affairs in conjunction with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) and FoodexportUSA Northeast organized a U.S. seafood trade event to promote the image of U.S. seafood products in France.
