Craft Beer Promotion, Portugal

The promotion showcased U.S. craft beers and increased awareness of the product available in the Portuguese and EU market by gathering hospitality industry, importers, distributors, brewers, decision makers and end-users. By attending the event and organizing this food promotion, in conjunction with the Embassy in Lisbon, FAS Madrid increased visibility of U.S. craft beers. Recognizing that U.S. craft beer exports have increased year on year for the past five years, FAS/Madrid convinced the Brewers Association and Hops growers of America to actively participate in two days of activities promoting U.S. craft beers and sustainable American Hops in Portugal.
