U.S. wine exports, 90 percent from California, reached $1.62 billion in winery revenues in 2016. The European Union was the top destination for U.S. wine exports, accounting for $685 million, up 10% compared to the previous year. In both 2015 and 2016, U.S. wine exports to Germany were $88 million per year, an increase of 31% over 2014.
More than 90 companies from California, New York, Washington and Oregon displayed their products at the U.S. pavilion in 2017.
