Warsaw Beer Festival, Poland

As a barometer of how far Polish brewing has come, there aren’t many indicators more accurate than the Warsaw Beer Festival.  From modest beginnings, the Polish capital’s twice-yearly drink-up has come to be acknowledged as one of the key events in Central Europe’s craft beer calendar.

This year, USDA-FAS and U.S. Embassy Warsaw joined their efforts with the Hop Growers of America to showcase the world-class America hops at the United States beer and hops booth.

The real highlight of the event was Steve Dresler, a retired brewmaster from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., who hosted 3 craft beer seminars:

His presence at the festival was a result of cooperation between FAS Warsaw and the Hop Growers of America.
