Cook Romanian dishes with U.S. ingredients

In April 2017, FAS Bucharest in collaboration with the Embassy’s Public Affairs Section, organized a contest on U.S. Embassy social media page called “Cook Romanian dishes with U.S. ingredients”.  The contest aimed to familiarize the Romanian public with American ingredients and gastronomy.  The contest featured three editions focused on dried fruits and nuts, fish and seafood, and beef, respectively. The winners were invited to participate at the “Taste Ambassadors” event where they received a certificate of appreciation and USDA branded items from Ambassador Klemm.
