New technologies for quality seeds of our future, Hungary

FAS Mid Europe and the Center for Agricultural Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences will hold a workshop with the title “New technologies for quality seeds of our future” on November 17, 2017. There will be keynote presentations from the USDA’s New Technologies and Production Methods Division‎, the American Seed Trade Association, the Center for Food Integrity, and the Hungarian Seed Association. Innovative biotechnologies for plant breeding will be the main topic with special regard to the strategic communication of their technical and economic advantage, their potential for crop improvement as well as to their use in practice. The workshop is open to the public and the press.
