America’s Finest, Romania

On September 27^th, USDA organized ‘America’s Finest’ – a promotional event targeting chefs, the food retail, restaurants and hospitality sectors, as well as food bloggers. The event took place at Gargantua KSLF and the 100 participants could sample different varietal of California wines provided by three Romanian importers. They also tasted fish such as Alaska Pollock, Alaska Sockeye salmon, Alaska Keta salmon and Alaska salmon roe provided by Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) and a selection of U.S. tree nuts and dried fruits.

The event was very well received by our guest who were very impressed by the great quality of the Californian wines and the Alaska products, and the 2^nd most important TV station made a 2’30’’ material for the prime time news.
