International Sweet Potato Week 2019

The American Sweet Potato Marketing Institute (ASPMI) organizes  the International Sweet Potato Week.  The promotion takes place from April 4-18, 2019 in the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom is the largest export market for U.S. sweet potatoes accounting for 35 percent ($66 million) of all U.S. sweet potato exports.  International Sweet Potato Week (ISPW) is an annual promotion conducted by the American Sweet Potato Marketing Institute. The objective is to promote U.S. sweet potatoes to consumers through point of sale activities, flyer promotions, social media and communication campaigns. This year’s campaign puts a focus on the nutritional benefits of U.S. sweet potatoes and how they can contribute to an active lifestyle.  For more information please contact: aglondon@fas.usda.gov
