Alimentaria, the leading trade show for food and drinks in Spain, takes place bi-annually in Barcelona and attracts thousands of buyers and leaders in the food manufacture and distribution sectors, both national and international. In 2016, almost 4,000 exhibitors from 70 countries participated in the show. The show received the visit of 140,524 professionals, 35 percent from abroad. Alimentaria offers one of the best opportunities to increase U.S. exports of food and agricultural products in Spain.
