BIOFACH 2022

BIOFACH is the world’s leading trade show for organic food and food products, held every year in Nuremburg, Germany. After the United States, Germany is the 2nd largest organic food market in the world, with organic food sales reaching almost $17 billion in 2020. BIOFACH 2022, the world’s largest organic trade show, place in Nuremberg, German from July 26-29, 2022. About 24,000 visitors from 137 countries attended the show. They could choose from 2,276 exhibitors displaying a large variety of products, including the 21 exhibitors in the USA Pavilion. Consul General Timothy Liston of Consulate Munich stopped by the show and met with the U.S. exhibitors and the Organic Trade Association to discuss EU – U.S. organic trade. The USDA National Organic Program was also on hand to answer questions. The next BIOFACH and VIVANESS trade show will take place from February 14-17, 2023.
