FAS Zagreb celebrates 25 years at KRMIVA Feed Conference

On June 6–8, FAS Zagreb participated in the KRMIVA 2018 Feed Conference in Opatija, Croatia. KRMIVA, the Croatian feed millers’ association, is the largest and most influential association for this sector in Croatia. The conference saw approximately 200 participants, with attendees comprising a mix of scientists and representatives from the feed industry and cattle breeding industry.

During the conference discussions, FAS provided information on the benefits and advantages of U.S. feed and U.S. cattle genetics for farmers who want to maximize production and revenue. FAS Zagreb set up a promotional booth for the U.S. beef and feed industries and organized meetings along with matchmaker services for U.S. businesses. The market potential is strong for U.S. product, and thus USDA has been promoting U.S. food and feed safety in Croatia for years.

FAS Zagreb received a certificate of appreciation from the conference organizer for 25 years supporting the conference with expert speakers and business contacts.
