Krakow HORECA Trade Fair Visit

FAS Warsaw attended the 2017 HORECA Gastrofood culinary trade fair that took place in Krakow, Poland, on November 15-17, 2017.  The objective of the visit was to meet industry stakeholders, educate Polish end-users about sourcing U.S. products, and to encourage Polish industry contacts to visit U.S. trade fair expositions.  During the show, FAS Warsaw determined that while the Polish hotels, restaurants, and catering sectors offer good sales potential, key market players continue to lack awareness about the availability, variety, and quality of U.S. products.  Polish importers were interested in U.S. origin beef, fish and seafood, wines, dried fruit and nuts (almonds, prunes and cranberries) and baking mixes.
