Nordic Reverse Trade Mission, Denmark and Sweden

Nordic Reverse Trade Mission, Denmark and Sweden

April 03, 2017 - April 07, 2017 – All day

As some of the most affluent markets in the European Union, the Nordics offer stable potential to U.S. food suppliers. With open-minded consumers and an import-driven food sector, forecasts for American products are promising. To help U.S. food companies to benefit from the opportunities in these countries, Food Export USA Northeast and Midwest prepares a Focused Trade Mission to Sweden and Denmark on April 3 – 7, 2017.  Due to a short time frame of only one week, one-on-one meetings will only be conducted in Sweden and Denmark, but buyers from other Nordic countries will be invited. Since travelling in the Nordics is easy, Food Export USA is hoping that also companies from Norway, Iceland and Finland will attend. The product focus of the Trade Mission will be American classics, private label, specialty gourmet and general grocery items. In the past, Food Export USA already supported several different buyers from the Nordic market in establishing business with U.S. suppliers. This Mission is supposed to further enlarge the external trade relations between companies of the Northeastern and Midwestern states and importers from the Nordics. FAS/The Hague will reach out to at least 10 local specialized importers to promote RTM-Nordics and provide information about the participating U.S. exporters.
