Discover the diversity of U.S. wines at ProWein

ProWein is one of the largest international wine trade shows in the world. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show was cancelled in 2020 and 2021. In 2019, over 6,900 exhibitors from 64 countries attended the show, among them more than 95 wine exhibitors from the United States. As one of Europe’s fastest growing trade fairs in the beverage alcohol trade, the show also attracts more and more international suppliers of craft spirits, craft beer, and cider.

U.S. wine exports – 97 per cent from California – reached USD $1.44 billion in 2021. Regardless, Europe is the top export market for California wines, accounting for USD $542 million in 2021, with Germany being the key market on the continent.
